Minor Notes Recordings is always ready to boost a good music. Starting our digital only series we want to give access to underground electronic scene for all young or not yet developed producers, who we love to listen.

MNRD002 is coming from Moscow local dj and producer Mikhail Orlov aka Maoree, who is professional musician (Yes! He really played trumpet in orchestra, while was young). In 2005 he stepped into dance culture and started to be a DJ collecting his own vinyl and digital library of disco and house. After the long producing journey in 2020 he debuted with Journey To The Sun EP on a Belgium Gents & Dandy’s Records, which we played so much!

Being a big fan of Motown era and classic synths + drum machines from 80’s he collected all ideas and reconstructed it to a modern vision of his personal deep house thang. Using Maoree’s favourite synth Korg Monopoly he produced strong and solid EP called “Monopolis” for Minor Notes Recordings!

We are happy to see this man in our roaster and be sure you will see Maoree again and a lot on a house scene!
